Is my money safe?
As with any investment, the value of your investment can go up and down. This means that you may have less money when you withdraw than when you started. However, you choose how much risk you are happy to take and the funds in which your money is invested will reflect your personal approach to investment risk. Your savings will be diversified over a number of different funds to spread the risk further.
Your money is protected under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Can I keep track of my investments?
Once you have set up your investment, you can log in to view the values whenever you like. Details of your online account access will be provided during set up.
Who decides where my savings are invested?
Parmenion Investment Managers research the whole of the passive investment fund market to find the best funds, which combine low charges, good performance and a strong track record. If they do not meet (or continue to meet) Parmenion’s strict criteria, they will be sold and alternatives found automatically, so you can be assured you have the best selection of funds at any point within your portfolio.
Can I withdraw my money at any time?
Of course! We recognise life throws up events that may mean your needs change. So you can withdraw your money at any time, in full or partially with no cost or penalty. You can request a withdrawal using your online account. We do recommend that the products One + One offer are held for the medium to longer term (3-5 years) to let the investments grow.
Can I transfer other investments into my One+One ISA or General Investment Account?
Once your ISA and/or GIA are set up, you can instruct an existing ISA or account be transferred into your new One + One plan.
Simply go to the Investment Tools and you can key the transfer. One + One only need to know where the account is and the account number, we will arrange for the transfer. You’ll receive confirmation when it is received and then it will be invested in line with your chosen portfolio.
There is no initial adviser charge payable on the transfer! But you need to ensure there are no penalties or charges for leaving your current arrangement. Please contact us for further help in this area.
Can I transfer my One+One investments elsewhere if I am not happy?
Yes, in the same way as making a withdrawal, you can move your investments elsewhere without any charges or penalty.
